Ratings and Terms

All or most Collectible Costume jewelry has been pre-owned.  Items have been checked under a 10 magnification eye loupe and graded accordingly.   All jewelry items are clean and and wearable, in good to excellent condition, any wear or irregularities  will be described in the listings.  If it isn't wearable it won't be listed.  Vintage items may be listed in their original condition where the patina is part of their charm and value.  Items with normal wear for their age will be listed and wear will be described in the listings.  

Condition Rating:

Excellent:  No signs of wear on the front or back of the piece.  

Very Good:  Same as Excellent except for slight wear on the back of earrings, clasps, minimal wear at link touch points.  All stones, glass, and pearls and faux pearls are clean have good color with no chips.

Good:  May have minor flaws either from original manufacturing , to minor moisture pepper marks of foil that is only noticeable under 10 magnification.  Rhinestones may have an undetectable scratch or tiny chip that is also undetectable to the naked eye.  Some cheaply made collectible costume jewelry fall into this category, due to the low quality of the originally made jewelry.  These are still very wearable and are priced accordingly.
